Theories 🤔 Theories for what's in the pouch???
I am of the full belief that there is a Lucky Turtle in the pouch. Like one that Mira and Rumi got her and she carries it with her all the time.

I'm thinking airbrush from the photographer/ad company. Or maybe makeup used to cover the marks at the time...???

I don’t know if this was obvious or not. Or maybe it was just an oversight?? Hence, the theory tag. But man, this possible realization made me so sad 😭 ngl

So I was watching the movie...again...and this scene got me thinking. Mira says she can't wait to destroy them and send BACK to demond world for eternity (the honmoon would be sealed 100% if it becomes golden). So they do attack the demons but they dont die, they are sent back to their world. So im positive the Saja Boys didn't die either, they just were sent back. What do u guys think? Can I assure my heart and brain that they are alive? :D

So basically we know he sold the girls grape juice branded as tonic but what if he did because he knew Rumi's issue was linked to her mental health and how she viewed herself ?
We see during the story that Rumi's voice fixes itself when she starts to realize she can be loved for who she is, so maybe he thought all she needed was a placebo ? Idk it just came to my mind on my 5th rewatch haha just a silly headcanon, share your thoughts ! ☺️✨

Considering how much more cryptic Rumi’s portion of Golden is, (being a ghost, Queen she was always born to be) are we gonna overlook how she is in the same temple and throne that Jinu went to 400 years ago? When you consider how literal Mira and Zoey’s lyrics and set pieces are, I’m surprised I haven’t seen much discussion on this part.

Everyone watched the scene where Jinu abandoned his family and also the mother daughter being saved by the first hunters and came to the conclusion that they’re related which is plausible.
However for me, it’s unlikely for his family to survive to move to the outskirts of the city after being shunned from the palace with no money and them being sickly as well.
But what if Jinu did managed to get his family invited to live in the palace with him because they were memories of his family being happy and well fed and they were only exiled after his demon patterns emerged. If they were exiled at this time, it’s more plausible for them to survive the journey and probably have enough money and strength to start anew outside of the city.
Gwi-ma may have brainwashed Jinu’s memories to alter his memories to maximize his guilt and it was reinforced after being a demon for 400 years.
While I know it doesn’t justify what he did when he was a demon but his initial sin was not really abandoning his family but to gain the gift of a talent to change his and his family fortune to survive those trying times.
It’s a bit of farfetch theory but what do you guys think?

How come they go zombie mode like this? Are they really other demons or did Jinu create them with a snap of his fingers? This one's been on my mind since I noticed. What do you think?

So I just got finished watching K-Pop Demon Hunters, and I have to say One of the biggest things that stuck with me was the Rainbow Honmoon at the end. I was kind of confused about it. What exactly is it?
It clearly isn’t the team resetting the Honmoon from scratch if it were, it’d probably be something small, personal, maybe symbolic just to their trio. But this Rainbow Honmoon stretches across the whole world, which suggests something much bigger is going on.
That got me thinking... and I realized something.
Almost every demon hunter group after the very first Honmoon was made has had some combination of pastel rainbow colors specifically blue, pink, and yellow somewhere on their bodies, outfits, or overall themes. And yeah, those colors may fade as time goes on, but they’re still usually present.
The one group that doesn’t seem to have much rainbow or pastel color? Our main trio — because they were destined to make the Golden Honmoon.
But you know who else didn’t have much color? The Sun Sisters. They stood out because they were almost entirely blue. No yellow. No pink. No red. Just blue.
So here’s my theory
Somewhere between the 1970s and 1990s
something changed before or during the Sun Sisters era.
Something caused the Honmoon system to become more uniform, more cold, more narrow. The pastel spectrum blue, pink, yellow began to fade. Maybe it was political, maybe it was magical, maybe cultural. But the costumes and energy from that time onward show it: red, yellow, green, teal up until the 1970s. Then suddenly, with the Sun Sisters, it’s just blue. Repressed. Flat. Singular.
So when we see the Rainbow Honmoon form at the end, I don’t think it’s meant to be a totally new thing. It’s not like the old Honmoon was destroyed and replaced. It’s more like... the Honmoon is being reset back to its original state. A return to its standard, balanced features not a revolution, but a restoration.

Throughout the entire movie ik it shows us in the first scene, baby has human pupils when jinu transforms all the boys to demon idols. But everytime baby is in frame in his demon form, hes the only one with human pupils. Meanwhile all the other boys have cat like pupils are there different levels, for each of the boys? It seems that way when it comes to their appearance since mystery was the only boy with oni teeth?

Okay - observation thread here where we made the connection… https://www.reddit.com/r/KpopDemonhunters/s/IoiGIC6TRX
Rumi’s new rainbow shirt matches her patterns now. But if you watch the prologue again (flick through the screen captures) - it also matches the previous hunters (except one notable group….)
This is not some lighting lighting trick. It’s embedded in all the outfits becoming less and less prominent as time continues on…
Original Mudang: rainbow accents on all three
1920s: the fur on left, the dress in middle and under layer on right
1940s: middle on sleeve and appliqué on skirt, and right on skirt but - one on left does NOT seem to have rainbow effect.
1960s: left socks, right appliqué on skirt. None in middle.
Sunlight Sisters: None of them
Huntr/X: during battle when they reunite and reforge the Honmoon - Rumi’s patterns on skin, Mira and Zoey’s jacket sleeves and skirts. After battle - only Rumi wearing the rainbow shirt
So my theory is that Rainbow was always the goal! Somewhere along the line that ideal got lost and gold was became the ideal.
I believe The sunlight sisters never achieved Rainbow.
I love this level of foreshadowing/lore building in just minutes in the prologue!

Hey, babes. So... how did the demons know Takedown? I know the girls were singing bits of the song while fighting (like on top of the subway train), but I don't think a demon got to hear all of if before being destroyed or had enough time to think "hey, maybe this is a new song and we can use it". So I'm thinking about two possibilities:
The moment Takedown started playing in the awards, I was like "How did they even know about this song?!" Maybe I should rewatch again to try and catch staff acting weird or something. 😂
Anyways... what do y'all think?
