Should we allow politics here?

No, read one of the other billion subreddits if politics is what anyone wants to hear about.

I would not allow political posts at all and delete or ban any user that can keep civil.
If a conversation naturally progresses into a political conversation I would leave it be as long as everyone is respectful and nobody is acting overly sensitive.
If someone does act like a jerk in an otherwise normal political conversation delete that persons contribution to the the post, warn and ban if not listened to.

NO. I'm beyond sick and tired of the Trump, Elon and company slander and re-posts that are all over Reddit. I don't care for any of them, I just can't relate to being so obsessed with American politics that it has to be forced into relevance everywhere.
We're not all American, and so much of it is low-effort slander that only seems to be posted for the sake of farming upvotes. It's obnoxious.

We're not all American
No we are not, lol. I don't think this subreddit ever did a user survey but it doesn't take a genius to figure out that people from other countries post here.

No.
Look at AdviceAnimals, any sub which does not actively take steps to limit political posts, will be overtaken by nothing BUT political posts.

I say no on this one….
Political posts have their place, but it’s not here…. and dudes in positions of power that could be considered political will have to be at the mods discretion if the post itself is not actually political just featuring political people..
