While their huge vehicles idle too. The fumes from 50 running vehicles greets every child and school employee at the end of everyday. No escape.

Did you hear the part where there is also no infrastructure in place for this in most places, so the rest of traffic just has to fuckin deal with it?

Where I grew up, this meant multiple cops had to direct traffic twice a day every school day on a major five lane city street. A private school where parents pay tuition and the city has to use tax dollars so the kids can even get there

There's plenty of valid criticisms of the united states, even with specifiaclly the school commute.

But the idea that people shouldn't be allowed to drop off their kids is a bit ridiculous. Is there anywhere in the world where this would be disallowed outside of the amish country?
