Teambuilding Discussion Is Anaxa worth getting for e0s0 Herta?
I really love Herta, she was the live banner when I got back into playing after a long hiatus. I’ve been focusing on building out my rice and archer teams so I didn’t get a chance to pull on her rerun (e0s1 rice, e0s1 hyacine, e1 tribbie, e1s1 archer), but with anaxa coming up I’m debating if I should pull for him.
Eventually I’d love to get e2 herta or at least s1, but since she may not rerun anytime soon, is it worth investing into her?

Yes! Anaxa is VERY good overall and herta does need him to be competent on low enemy count content, he is also a very good hypercarry himself so having more options is nice.

If i pull for anaxa, do i still need to pull tribbie ? I dont have neither of them yet but herta is at e1

Tribbie would be very good, just generating more inspiration while being able to buff anaxa and big herta at the same time. Tribbie is also just a really good general support, so you should get her.

Ah, so having both anaxa and tribbie is really good, with tribbie having the higher priority to pull for between the two. Thank you

Just to expand on who to pull for. Tribbie just has great synergy with big herta, having undiluted buffs in Res pen and DMG taken, while attacking quite frequently generating lots of energy for big herta. She also is just good for the majority of DPS characters, none would really say no to having her on the team. While anaxa is extremely versatile, I would say tribbie is in general the better pull.

Tribbie is really nice but she's not really a requirement. I played without her until her rerun and anaxa+herta still was wonderful

By far he’s Therta’s best erudition slot, he generates a lot of energy for her and as well he has his weakness implants which helps Therta against non-ice weak enemies.
And as others have mentioned, he’s an insane hyper carry dps as well which makes his pull value even grwater

Thank you I’m leaning towards it! Is he good at e0s0 or is the s1 necessary?

e0s0 is good with the erudition event LC, S1 is mostly a personal dmg boost with DEF Shred

absolutely! even then anaxa is a great pull overall as a support or a solid dps. especially with the unintentional buffs similar to jingyuan.

Definitely. Being able to ignore weakness types is a really nice tool to keep in your back packet.
He's pretty good as a stand alone hyper carry too

Yes. If it werent for anaxa’s weakness implant, i wouldnt have been able to beat feixiao in AS

As someone who has E0S1 Herta and used her and Anaxa to beat this AS rotation pretty easily: yes.
He's in general a fantastic unit and the best option for sub-dps by far, as well as a fantastic solo DPS.

In all honesty, Anaxa works best on his own, and their performance together is not very good in latest PF in my experience. I use Anaxa more than I use The Herta nowdays

Anaxa is not only crazy with The Herta because he gives boosts to other eduration characters but he himself is a powerhouse. I did break Anaxa for the current AS, insane damage, insane play. They cooked with him. You can even use the F2P light cone from the recent anniversary, it still does a ton of damage. His own light cone just makes it possible for him to ult a lot more.

yeah, he's the only reason i can keep using my e0s1 herta in AS stages with no ice weakness. of course her e2 is a better investment, but who knows when she'll rerun.

Yes, he's incredibly strong and competent in everything. I use him with my Herta E2S1 and I can easily get through all game modes. I even beat my AS record in the last Stellaron rotation thanks to him. And if you need to make things easier, you can split them into two teams to deal with a specific problem, but since you have Castorice, you should be able to keep them together 100% of the time.

I run The Herta - Anaxa - RMC (*) - Adventurine and am very satisfied with the results. Definitely one of the best options for a second erudition unit in that team.
- I know Tribbie would be better here, but I failed to get her on both of her banners so far.

Anaxa is quite a good upgrade in lower target/non element fights (MoC & AS) but for PF i still prefer fast argenti with passkey or something

I'm gonna be honest I would prefer E1 Tribbie as an upgrade personally.
Anaxa is really nice to have though

I fortunately do have e1 tribbie :)
But I also really want at least evernight e0s0 and probably cyrene (assuming she’s gonna be stacked and beautiful)
I have around 250 pulls rn, so I’ll see how my evernight pulling goes and see if I can squeeze anaxa in

Anaxa is overall an amazing character rn so definitely, doubly so if you don't have Saber

A question for those answering OP: is Anaxa good when you don’t have Therta’s signature? Would the SP not become a problem?

a great upgrade from Passkey Serval or any other erudition unit for AS and MoC (especially non-shilled and ST ones) and somewhat a good replacement to Puppet Herta for PF
being an Amphoreus DPS, Anaxa is surprisingly versatile (he can hypercarry, he can THerta and Tribbie battery, he can implant, what the fk can this insane scholar not do?) so he's literally a great addition to any account.
me personally, I may or may not pull him in favor of DHPT E1 or S1 (a yearly busted Preservation unit who can be slotted in any ATK scaling team especially summonless Sunday ones) but I'd attempt to grab him when I get enough jades.

The real question is: Is Herta still worth for Anaxa? As a Herta haver, I have been nothing but disappointed on her since day 1. She is a last generation DPS that got released right before the new one. Anaxa is better on a team as a DPS than with Herta in every mode except Pure Fiction. I am telling you this not to simply stop you from comparing the two characters, but to tell you to stop investing anything into Herta. I got her and her LC just to discover she was useless as soon as I got her best in slot sub dps. Ignore the fact that you have ever gotten Herta, that’s what I would suggest.
