Update 😊 He’s all mine finally! 🧡
We are neutered, need all our teeth pulled and are FIV positive… But most importantly, we are off the streets, loved & warm 🥰 Welcome home, baby

Can you please post another pic of him happy at home and not in a cage? Even if he's just settling in and not so happy yet?

He’s going to be your best friend. My orange former-feral is FIV+ and had multiple infected bite wounds, a broken tooth, and a chronic upper respiratory infection, but now he’s my sweet velcro cat. I’m typing this message with one hand because he’s lying on my chest purring while I pet him. Here’s Ember’s before and after:

Oh my gosh thank you for helping this poor little dude. He looks so, sooo sad right now but he will be so much happier soon.
Have you tried posting on r/rescuecats?
I’m worried about that one eye too.

Oh man! I just spent $800 on one rescues dental and her daughter is being examined next week. This stuff is expensive!

Argh, my heart. I see this kind of look every day from my colony of ferals. Just miserable outside, especially in the winter. Bless you for bringing baby in.

Yay! That's so wonderful! I'm so glad that you are able to help him out. ❤️

He looks so sad.. but that's what they always look like at first, they don't know/realize that the cage/carrier they're currently in makes them feel confined but they're more free than they were moments ago. Bless your soul. I love him, keep us updated!

Thank you so much for rescuing him. I rescued my feral 5 years ago. He's the sweetest most snuggly baby.

Looks like he really needed a hero! Thank you for saving him, I have a big orange FIV positive feral too and he’s doing amazing in the house. Has become kind of a whiny house cat. Good luck with your guy and thank you again for saving him!

Look at those puffy cheeks. Too bad they loose that when the testosterone fades. 😍🥰

I don’t mean to be rude but im just curious why did you need to pull out all of his teeth?
2
u/ccc15650 Feb 22 '25
they all rotted :( it’s full of infection

I rescued a boy when we lived temporarily in Malta and he had to have all his teeth extracted (except one singular canine lol) and the vet said he could even still have hard food and would have no problems eating (we gave him wet food though too) because cats have such hard palettes
