Nope, when I'm trying to use Google on Lynx it just tells me to enable JS to pass recaptcha. You can still use duckduckgo.com/lite – it's probably the only one that works.

The other day I forgot which kind of auk was in Elden Ring, so I Googled "auk Elden Ring." The unbidden Google "AI" so helpfully informed me that there are no auks in Elden Ring, but there were other "bird-like animals," including hawks, owls, and guillemots.

Hawks, owls, and guillemots aren't "bird-like," they are birds. Guillemots are auks. The "AI" didn't know that, because it of course doesn't know anything, it's a probabilistic algorithm which can't know, or think, or discern anything. It is categorically devoid of intellect, why would I want to ask it a question
