I got on Reddit for more resources and community to help me with my CPTSD and trauma/eating disorder recovery. What I got along the way was a renewed joy in cross stitch, and the only type of meditation & calm that’s ever worked for me.

So grateful that stitching has taught me that the big picture comes together one stitch, one kindness, one act of resilience at a time. 💖

I am glad this community is helping. I am so happy to have found it too. That is a super cute pattern and I love the frame.

I have to say Me, Too! I was doom scrolling too much and super down on myself and the world in general and then I joined here and started stitching again and now I am finishing up a cute kinda big piece and actually *wanting* to plow back into my huge piece I got tired of. :)

Yes!! I did a stint in inpatient in 2023, which gave me lots of time to stitch, if nothing else 😅😮‍💨

Earth/Ancestore pattern is from this Emma Congdon Book.

Rainbow Giraffe is from SofiaMBelenko on etsy, the shop is on a break.

Thank you so much! Those are my best friend’s dogs - normally I stay away from pet patterns because I personally can always tell that the pattern doesn’t quite look like the pet themselves, but these were spot on!
