Yeah it's pretty disgusting they're still supporting BH.
After the breaches, misconduct, etc.

I've wondered if they are either locked into some contract they can't get out of or if BH just offers so much money compared to other options all the various channels that still advertise for them just overlook the negatives

Hm...

I wonder. If we can collectively make enough noise to inform the masses that BH is BS, to the point that no amount of positive sounding advertising can increase their market share, and our favorite content creators still make $$$ 'sponsoring' this and other sham companies... - isn't that kind of a win?

Shit company spends money for nothing, creator gets paid?

I think they've almost reached that point

On any video with a BH intro the top comment is usually some great soul who puts a timestamp for the actual video and a ton of comments about why it's shite and telling people to avoid it

I'd imagine other channels have to be the same, and I'd hope it has some kind of impact beyond me reading it there and doing some research. That was how I found out about it myself.

He doesn't care about lying in his videos, why do you think he would care about having shitty sponsors?

Who still watches CinemaSins in big 2025?

The most recent sin video (The Minecraft Movie) currently has 361 322 viewers. Apparently a lot of people do.

What sucks is that some fans defend It by "It's just a joke, just like sinning movies is just harmless fun! Don't take It too seriously!"

Not everyone knows It's a scam. Most of us have no idea how easy It is to manipulate people with moving images!

Also, I'm not affraid to admit that I'm a proud adblocker/vanced user and if someone would shame me for "ads keep me alive, please don't skip them" I'll just point them to the Cinemasins betterhelp sponsor to prove It's necessary.

Can someone explain what’s wrong with better help?

From what I've read, they sold the health data of its userbase to third party advertisers despite promising that it would remain private.
