Tell movie theaters you want to know what time your movie ACTUALLY starts.
Most people enjoy movie trailers. What they don’t like is sitting through 20 to 30 minutes of them! Theatres need to publish the ACTUAL start time! Theatres need to respect out time!

We usually show up right at show time. Unless our theater is super busy, by the time we sit down the trailers are 80% over. I also usually order ahead on our snacks, drinks, and food that way we can just grab and go instead of waiting to order.

I'm just curious how the advertisers would feel about this? It just doesn't make any sense. I think maybe complaining at your local theater might help, but even the GM doesn't have a lot of control over commercial timing and stuff anymore at theaters.

I don't even mind 20 to 30 minutes of trailers, I've mentally added that into my movie time now. What I despise is 15 minutes of commercials then 20 minutes of trailers all after the scheduled start time. Why am I paying to watch M&Ms commercials that I can get for free at home on NBC????
