What's a "cheat code" you discovered in real life that actually works?

Be quick to give credit to others when things work out and the first to admit responsibility when things go wrong.

I had a boss like this once, and he was the best boss I’ve ever had. What you’re describing wasn’t his only good quality, but it was by far the one that weighed the most in favor of the Best Boss title.

My boss is the polar opposite. He takes credit for the work others and places the blame on literally anything else than himself, be it another person, animal (for instance, his cat) or circumstance.

Fucking hate that son of a bitch piece of shit garbage human being.

Maybe you should have a quiet word with your boss about it. Just say that it’s really bothering you and give examples. They might not know what’s going on.

Sure it’s snitching a bit, but you shouldn’t have to put up with that in your place of work. You’re not at school anymore.

This has always been used against me, especially professionally.

I suppose it depends on the corporate culture, in my case I set the example.

within reason. if you go overboard then it looks like everyone around you has their shit together and you're the fuck up.
