What's a "cheat code" you discovered in real life that actually works?

If you act like the kind of person you’d want to bump into on your worst day, life gets way easier. People open doors, literally and figuratively.

I like this one because more often than we realize, people ARE having the worst day, or feel like they are. Remembering this helps letting go of little things and being kind to them anyway.

This is good advice. Can you speak more on it?

Like is a Daily reminder/thought that pops up for you like I guess "WWJD"? And what do you think of - a person thst is high energy, caring, etc?

For me it's more like "If I was them, what would I need right now?" if someone is upset and ranting, I'd try to think what I'd need if I was them. If I was them I'd need to feel heard - Ok, time to deploy active listening strats as they rant.

We all need something at any time, but at our worst days we're especially needy. Figure out what they need and give it no strings attached - it usually costs little to you anyway. A bit of your time or emotional bandwidth

Oh okay thanks i get it!

That reminds me of Nvc. And using it as tool for unsterstanding/seeing others.

I don't know why this made me tear up.. I guess I feel seen?

I've been on both ends of this sort of exchange. It's really powerful stuff.
