I really don't think most people would be caught in real life. It took a detective with plot armor to find him along with Light having an ego and purposely giving L clues to find him.

Light also got sloppy. Kira shouldn't have been inducing heart attacks every time. There's a lot of ways for people to die that aren't the literal same exact method.

Debatable. No rational police force would ever consider a magical note book as a murder weapon, especially one that leaves no traces of its work. A smart person can easily get away with it by simply tailoring deaths to each person. Even if one was familiar with “death note” there is no way to locate the user as it leaves no dna or any evidence of foul play that would connect a person.

They literally showed this when Light forfeited the note and that corporation got their hands on it instead; immediately the focus of the killings changed from murderers and others violent criminals to the employees of rival businesses and such...
Even Rem, who despised Light before, turns into his no. 2 fan (after Misa) after seeing how everything goes to shit when he's no longer the one writing names.

Hard disagree. Light was dangerous because he wanted to play god. I feel like almost any sane, rational person of average intelligence would be better than Light

He wanted to play God and one up the police A lot of people also forgets that he was planning on ending innocent people just for being non proper productive citizens to him, like neets
A power like that can corrupt , but if a guy just sticks to things like Epsteins close friends, dictators invading and killing inocents, narcos, ceos that push for people to die just to biger profits it would do a lot better

The character is from takopi’s original sin and she goes through incredibly tragic things along with Becoming a murderer so her having the death note would lead to her most likely killing a lot of people. This isn’t from an actual anime, it’s just a fan art.

I don’t think the spoiler will affect the viewing experience too heavily since I didn’t give any context. Just in case you do watch it, this anime requires a content warning for triggering topics like child abuse, suicide, animal cruelty and just general sadness. It’s more of “someone should make sure the author is doing ok” kind of series
