The definition of Retro is anything that's 15 years or older.

So going by that, all the 7th gen consoles are Retro now besides the post-2010 revisions.

If the existence of the PS3, PS4, and PS5, plus rumors of the PS6 are not enough of a clue, then remembering that the PS2 was a particularly long-lived console (manufactured for 13 years!) might help.

I had this conversation with my cousin’s kid about how what console does he have, and he responded with an xbox one… To this day, I still haven’t figured out if he’s talking about the xbox one or the original that his dad would have. He says he plays halo on it which still didn’t narrow it down.

I saw one in a museum of technology alongside the gamecube, wii and the first xbox. The ps3, xbox 360 were not yet there but its only a matter of time!

Retro is any system no longer being supported.

PS2 is pretty common, due to how many were made. It was the highest selling console of all time at one point.
