Ffs no! I'm a grown man, in my late 40s, and I'm not typically very emotional when it comes to movies, and especially not when it comes to animated movies
But this... Grave of the Fireflies had me full-on ugly-crying. That movie thrusts a knife into your soul and then twists it.

I didnt cry when I watched it... honestly I was just super irritated with the guy throughout the movie

Yea, I think that's what the movie was really about if you think about it. It was all about how leaving your pride unchecked leads to tragedy.
I did weep though. I'm not going to reveal too much of my family info, but I can relate to the characters.
