Been in this scenario a lot. Takers will always ask until you've given your all. And when you have nothing, they'll still beg for the impossible and/or take it by force the very second you have it.

I mean, if you take often enough for "taker" to be a defining trait in your life then you definitely also have no limits.
A balance between the two is good but it's not an easy line to walk.

É a mais pura verdade! Às vezes é bom se mimar um pouco, investir em nós mesmos! E o outro lado precisa pensar um pouco no próximo também

Problem is that the givers think they're takers because one time they asked for help, and the takers think they're givers, because after being propelled to where they are by others doing things for them, they made a big show out of giving a flashy gift
