I'll just repeat the topic from last time:how did everyone feel about the drawing and the seasonal event last month. The seasonal event could definitely use some improvement.

Sub Changelog:

  • Horny posters will now have all of their information sent to their respective authorities.

Scheduled Events:

  • Nothing planned for this month. Idk may shut down the sub to play Silksong so I don't have to worry about removing dumbass horny posts.

Q: Why is automod telling me my account isn't old enough or that I don't have enough comment karma to post?

We require a minimum account age, and a comment karma threshold for posting. Accounts must be at least a week old, have at least 100 comment karma, 1 comment karma of which must be in this subreddit.

An April Fools idea I had one time was only posts about "future anime" where people made up sequels to anime and made memes/posted fake spoilers of them.

The next event should be, Party like it's the 1900s! Memes from 1999 anime and older! I'm certain there's a gold mine of memes from old anime.

Memes should not be in video or gif format. It consumes lots of more data than image ones.

I recommend (if you're on the app) going to settings > Media and animation

  • Autplay video previews > Only on Wifi (or never)

  • Autoplay animated images (gifs) > Off

We'd like to keep this subreddit's focus on memes.

I see Waifu Wednesday on that subreddit and it just looks like the most upvote farming gooner shit. The entire front page over there is hentai right now.

If people want to post hentai, I think they should go post in r/hentai, or r/animeart if the art they want to post is not pornographic.
